

Terms and Policies
Contract: All orders will be acknowledged only if a contract has been sent from JanetS@wishfulsweets.com and a deposit has been made. No contract, no deposit, no order, NO EXCEPTIONS.

Deposit: ​A non-refundable, non-transferrable deposit is due to place and secure your order. All deposits and payments made towards the order are not refundable. The remaining balance is due up to 24 hours prior to pick up. If payment is not made by said time, the order will be null and void.

Payments: All payments may be made payable via Zelle using my email address JanetS@wishfulsweets.com

Custom Orders: A minimum 1 week notice is required for all custom orders and is based on availability.
​
Weddings: Wedding cakes require at least a 2 week notice prior to the event date.
​
Cake Tasting: You may select up to 3 different flavors and 3 different frostings/fillings for tasting. Cake tasting has a standard fee of $40 and serves up to 4 people. Cake tastings are available for pick up with a phone consultation to follow, upon customer's request, or a meeting may be set up at a location of Wishful Sweets' choosing.

Delivery and Pick up: If you or your representative elects to pick up and set up the cake, you assume all liability and responsibility for the condition of the cake once it leaves Wishful Sweets’ possession. Delivery is available upon request. A standard fee of $3 per mile is charged for all deliveries from our location, 3603 Grafton Ave., Dallas, TX 75211. A minimum charge of $15 is required for all deliveries. We are not responsible for any damage to the cake after setup is complete. You are responsible for providing an appropriate and secure table and environment for the cake(s). Cakes are heavy and require a sturdy table, and optimal room temperature of 72 degrees or below. If instructed to do so, keep cake refrigerated until event start time.

Temperature: Cakes require optimal room temperature of 72 degrees or below.

Changes: Any changes requested are subject to price change. Changes to an order may be made up to 2 weeks prior to the event date. Changes listed on the contract are limited to serving size and design of the cake. No date changes pertaining, but not limited to, COVID-19 require a rescheduling fee of $40. No date changes may be made within 2 weeks of your event date.

Allergens: Our products may contain or come into contact with milk, wheat, nuts, soy, and other allergens. You agree to notify your guests of this risk and hold us harmless for allergic reactions.

Cottage Food Law: All products sold by Wishful Sweets LLC are made in a home kitchen and are not inspected by the Department of State Health Services or a local health department.
​
Flowers: If flowers are provided, you acknowledge that fresh flowers are not a food product and may contain pesticides, insects, dirt, or other contaminants.
​
Photography: On occasion, we will photograph our cakes and products. We reserve the right to use any photographs for display or promotion without compensation to you.
​
Legal: Performance of these terms is contingent upon the ability of Wishful Sweets LLC to complete the agreement and is subject to labor disputes or strikes, accidents, Acts of God, and other causes beyond our control.
